6th Maritime Start-up Day & Night // In cooperation with SMM Hamburg

Welcome to the 6th edition of the Maritime Start-up Day & Night in Hamburg. This year our presenting partner is the exhibition SMM Hamburg. On 4th September 2024 we open once again the doors for Maritime Start-ups worldwide presenting their new business ideas around the different topics in the digital or analogue market field.

Startups that have booked a booth at SMM Hamburg can present their company to the SMM audience at the prefinal pitches in the afternoon of the day. A recommended jury awards the best Start-up in each category. At the Maritime Start-up Night in the evening, one of the 4 best pre-winners be will nominated and award as best Maritime Start-up 2024. Let´s fade away this event by a following networking get-together with some drinks & foods.

Welcome to the SMM 2024 in Hamburg, the leading international maritime trade fair. This year, the fair presents itself with new and innovative concepts. Maritime Start-ups are particularly in focus and will be presented and highlighted with new presentation formats and an expanded spectrum of exhibition options at the fair.

In addition to attractive exhibitor areas located according to its field of business, the Start-ups get its own event as a highlight at SMM 2024 – „The SMM Maritime Start-up Day & Night“ on Wednesday, 4th September 2024.

Start-ups@SMM are presented on a start-up route and strategically placed close to potential customers.

Start-up Day Event with Stage Pitches

Participation in the Pitches at the SMM Maritime Start-up Day on Wednesday, 04 September: In front of the SMM audience, the Start-ups present their innovation products in pitches to an assigned jury.

Maritime Start-up Award

The best pitch is nominated and awarded as the best Maritime Start-up 2024.

Start-up Aftershow-Party

After the award ceremony, the exclusive after-show party takes place as the highlight of this day. Together with invited guests, all start-ups, sponsors and investors, we celebrate the evening with live music and free drinks.
