The Maritime Start-up Night presents every year young entrepreneurs from International and from Germany. In smart pitches, the startups present their new products for the maritime industry. The best Start-up gets the Maritime Start-up Award, nominated by a recommended jury of industry experts.

The SEADEVCON is an annual shipping and maritime conference based in Hamburg. The event is focused on the contribution of CO2 emissions from commercial shipping and maritime tourism and brings together experts from the maritime business:
Representatives from shipping companies, researchers and academics, developers of relevant hard- and software technologies, NGOs, and environmental activists present their technical solutions and discuss the future of the industry. The overarching objective is climate neutral shipping.
